2D Work

2D animation has always been an important part of my life as I have watching cartoons, animated films and anime throughout my childhood which I still do rellgiously to this day.

Projects

This project was one of my most ambitious, combining mixed media elements with traditional animation to create a narrative short. This required many hours in Photoshop to cut out and merge the photos into cohesive backgrounds that I could use to animate over .

Many of the photos were also animated in post to create depth and a sense of "realism" keeping the aesthetic somewhat grounded besides the stylistic animation and mixed media influence.


With the world being unique I did not want to use a generic song so I used an older song of mine that I had produced using the free DAW Cakewalk.
